National FSA Blog and Conference

Don't forget to check out the National Families Supporting Adoption Blog for great ideas and articles on adoption! Click here to go to the blog and remember to bookmark it and check back often for ideas throughout the adoption process.

Also, mark your calendars for the National FSA conference this summer in Layton, Utah(about 25 miles north of Salt Lake). It will be held July 30-31, 2010. The cost is usually very minimal and it provides for two days full of different adoption seminars, presentations, dinner and a WONDERFUL opportunity to meet other adoptive couples and families. There is a children's room available for a minimal cost and you can register for only Saturday if you are unable to go on Friday.

Last year I was able to attend for the first time, and I plan to attend every year. You can read about last year's conference by clicking here. It was so much fun to be around so many other people who love and support adoption. Families with adopted kids were the norm! Classes are for every stage of adoption: dealing with infertility, preparing to adopt, placement and birth parents, after adoption, raising adopted kids, and transracial adoption. Make plans to attend. Watch the National FSA blog for more info and I'll make sure to send it out by email as well.
